I've tried with and without FSUIPC but can't seem to get this one right.The problems all start with the Autopilot. Once the wheel is moved when coming off AP, it will jump to the last setting before the AP was engaged. At the time of writing this review the product is brand new to the market and this problem has not been addressed. Other than a few comments by others having the same problem, there is no mention of a solution. If you fly without using the AP, this trim wheel is great. It places the large wheel right where is needs to be. It appears to be around a 4" wheel and has a great feel. The drag or resistance is perfect. I find that using the palm of your hand works best for me. The price is right but I sure hope the bugs get worked out or somebody can find a solution to the Autopilot issue. I tried to set it up on the new Microsoft Flight demo but couldn't get it to work. The aileron axis is default and there's no elevator trim axis to choose. |
