Realflight G6 is the latest release of on the the most realistic flight simulators available for radio controlled airplanes. It includes the simulator, USB Interlink Controller (Airplane Configuration - can be used to fly helis also), and the Airplane Megapack. It offers a wide range of realistic flying fields, water landings, obstacle courses - and even on-line combat against other players.
A simulator is an excellent way to learn to fly radio controlled airplanes. It will more than pay for itself because when you crash, instead of having to go buy replacement parts - you just click a button and get back in the air!
If you already own a compatible controller with a trainer port, you can connect it to the USB Interlink controller and use you own controller for real stick time.

Both the helicopter and airplane megapack versions are about 99% identical, with the exception of a slightly different radio configuration (above channel 4) as well as respective aircraft count. With those basically being the only differences, I decided to post my review here as well, in order to give you as much information as possible on the RF6 RC flight simulator.What's in the box: You will receive the software CD containing over 80 aircraft and over 30 flying sites (fields), a very realistic 8 channel, mode 2 transmitter attached to a USB wire to plug into your computer. You'll also get a couple of adaptor wires to use if you want to use your own Futaba or Spektrum transmitter, or to have two pilots fly for training or competition.
