Game has many lakes and fish to chose from. Youcast your lure and then you watch your lure under water to catch fish. Many cool features to watch under the water along with a fish your trying to catch. The biggest fish they have cought was around 40lbs. There is also boat racing and the boys have alot of fun playing with that also. What i like about the Kinect is that there is movement for the kids. They have to use there bodys alot to play the game. One of my first reviews for a game is called Rapala: We Fish with Rod Bundle, which I somewhat enjoyed. The main difference between Rapala for the Wii and Rapala for the Kinect are updated graphics and more detailed environments. Driving the boat is still an issue that hasn't be worked out. Driving the boat for the Wii version had it's problems. Driving the boat with Kinect is still not fun. You must hold your hands above your shoulders for the Kinect sensor to pick your motions up. The boat driving is very clunky. :-(Graphics wise, this is a step up. Environment wise, We Fish had much better environments, even with 480i graphics. The environments made We Fish a lot more fun. Its a lot of fun when you are playing the 2 player mode. The game can be a tad of a challenge and it will give you a bit of a workout. I have only played the game a few times but really enjoy it. I only a problem with landing the fish sometimes. It seems to be hard replicate what they want to bring the fish up in the boat. All in all this is a great game to pass the time away until the real fishing season comes around. |
