| 9 of 9 people found the following review helpful  AC Trilogy With Bonus Content -- Comments On The Bundle Itself, By = Fun: Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Assassins Creed Trilogy with Bonus Content (Video Game) After reading some of the other reviews we were worried about this bundle, but since Amazon has such a good return policy, we gave it a shot.The bundle was fine -- it was shrink-wrapped in a box that said "Exclusive to Future Shop" on the front. The bundle itself is called Master Assassin Pack. Details on the Bonus Content were written on the box in English and French. Each game was individually shrink-wrapped with the nice, folded over type of wrap that would be probably more than difficult to attempt to do without a machine. The UPC codes WERE cut off of the back cover of each box, but they were actually cut out through the shrink-wrap, meaning even though the codes were cut out the shrink-wrap was intact. Artwork on the box is intact except for the UPC code. I don't know for certain why the UPC codes were cut out, but I seriously don't care. The platforming is very well done, there's a very in depth storyline and graphics are excellent. My 3-star review isn't for the games, it's for this trilogy bundle specifically. The issue I have is they cut out the UPCs for the 3 games and not just through the cover art but through the plastic of the cases too. I believe this is a horrible practice. I bought these games based on the fact that I was shown a picture of the original copies of the games. When I received my shipment it turned out to be the Platinum Hits versions of AC and AC2. No disappointments other than that. Won't be returning them, and I don't really feel that it should even qualify for one, but.. Seeing as a bought it on the belief that I was getting the original box art. Maybe no one else is buying it with that assumption, but if you are.. You know, heads up. |
