5.0 out of 5 stars Dragon Ball Z Tenkaichi Tag Team Review, October 22, 2010

= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team (Video Game)
Dragon Ball Z Tenkaichi Tag Team retains all the fast paced and explosive action from previous Tenkaichi titles all in one portable package.

The bulk of the game is in Dragon Walker. In this mode you will go through the entire Dragon Ball Z story from the arrival of Goku's brother Raditz to the defeat of Majin Buu. You will spend plenty of time in the over-world map guiding your fighter to certain destinations and encountering various foes. Despite it's similarities to Shin Budokai Another World's over-world map, Tenkaichi Tag Team manages to make it bearable enough and even sometimes fun. Who doesn't like to see their favorite Dragon Ball Z characters brought down to size with huge bobble heads? A frequent problem with Another Road was repetition. You would have to battle the same enemy numerous times consecutively, even if he isn't your primary target. This can grow tiresome even to the most die-hard Dragon Ball Z fan. This is still an issue in Tenkaichi Tag, and... Read more

Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team is one of the best DBZ games I have ever played. I love the idea of fighting two-on-two! The graphics are also amazing, especially the characters. I would definitely get it if you haven't already.

= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team (Video Game)
As someone who has played every Dragon Ball game there is, I was excited that this one had something new to offer. Being able to have a 2 on 2 battle with all 4 characters in at the same time is really nice. I'm hoping that they take this battle style and make it a mode on future console games. Anyone who is a Dragon Ball fan should check this game out.

5.0 out of 5 stars As authentic as it can get!, April 11, 2012

This review is from: Saitek Pro Flight Cessna Rudder Pedals (CES432070002/02/1) (Personal Computers)
First, many user product reviews here at Amazon clearly appear to be for similar but different models of the same brand. In many cases they are for older outdated models. Why they get lumped together makes research on a specific model a frustrating experience. Let me clearly at the outset indicate that this review is for the Saitek Pro Flight Cessna Rudder Pedals shown at the following link:

Saitek Pro Flight Cessna Rudder Pedals (CES432070002/02/1)

These Pro Flight Cessna Pedals are great! They are authentic in shape, size, and use, with the exception that the two pedals are a bit further apart than those in a true Cessna light aircraft. Do a web search for replacement Cessna rudder pedals or Cessna rudder pedal extensions and you will find photos of real Cessna pedals posted at aviation supply web sites. You will... Read more

Purchased to replace another manufacture's item. This is more expensive but worth the cost. The rudder pedal and brakes assemble much more accurately represents the 172.

Don't get me wrong, this pedal set may be great for you. My problem is I have size 13 shoes and I found these pedals to be too bulky with too many plastic ridges around the foot area, forcing you to make sure your feet are in the right spots!

I also found the angle of the pedals to be difficult to press.

I returned these for the combat type pedals as they are a "cleaner" design and in my opinion more like what you see in a real aircraft.

5.0 out of 5 stars Two classic Zelda games on one little disk!, August 10, 2005
By
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (w/ Master Quest) (Video Game)
To begin, I'd like to admit that I grew up on Zelda since the age of seven during the Christmas of '92 when I bought 'A Link to the Past' not too long after. I immediately became HOOKED!! When I was about nine, I gave the follow-up, 'Link's Awakening' a try (Yes, I've played BOTH the GB and GBC versions already now) and enjoyed it just as much. Finally, when 'Ocarina of Time' hit stores in '98, I was quite curious but a bit unsure if it would take away that good ol' classic feeling that I'd loved as a kid (I am a retro fan after all when it comes to gaming) so I decided to rent it for my N64. I wasn't in any way disappointed. Almost everything about the game resembled to that of the NES, SNES, & GBC originals, aside from the new and impressive 3D look.

The dungeons were fun and challenging, the puzzles were well thought out, and the bosses were simply SPECTACULAR! In addition, the controls were easy to master and you could practically do more than before. (With the 64-bit... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Master Quest is a blast from the past..., July 5, 2005
By
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (w/ Master Quest) (Video Game)
For those of you who are like me, you've been replaying Ocarina every couple of years or so. In my book, this is the greatest game ever made. It is the only game I've ever played that keeps my attention for more than an hour (I'm not at all a "hardcore gamer"). So, when I heard about this Master Quest thing, I tried really hard to find one. Unfortunately, I could not initially locate one. But then, one day, a couple of months later, I ran across a used copy in a GameStop.

This game is amazing. For me, it's a blast having new dungeons to navigate, and it's also amazing to have the same story I loved going on. It's also a chance to redeem myself, I guess. When I first beat the original on N64, I used a strategy guide for all the dungeons. Now, I can try and beat the game without any sort of outside help. For me, this is a chance of a lifetime of sorts.

As corny as this sounds, Ocarina of Time has had an impact on my life. It really taught me to appreciate the... Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Awesome game, however, transfer is slightly slippery, June 15, 2005
A Kid's Review
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (w/ Master Quest) (Video Game)
Now, let me star off by saying that I LOVE oot. It's graphics hold up quite well even for today's standards. The camera operation is real jerky and is not that great. The different catagories of the game and it's ratings will be in the gamecube's version review. Now let's talk about the gamecube version.

In this package, there is a new, remixed, master-quest version of the game.It is the same game, only the dungeons are different.

Now, the transfer from cartridge to disc is actually quite good, considering the technological differences, but in reality,

it does have some errors.

Errors:

Music skips if you enter a different area with the same music.

Sometimes the sharpness filter makes 2-D objects more visible.

The filter they used is good and bad(sorta). It gives the game a slightly sharper look (which is good), but as said above, it makes the 2-D objects more visible. There is also a boost in resolusion which... Read more
