The last two of which are where a high-end gaming mouse can come in very handy. For these types of games, it's very important to have a precise mouse that's comfortable and customizable to your personal preferences. First, let's talk about precision and customization. That's one area that this mouse excels in. I don't think I've seen any gaming peripheral that has so many features you can change. You can change between 2 different DPI (sensitivity) settings via a convenient button located below the scroll wheel. I personally have one setup for FPS and the other for RTS/Windows. Although you are welcome to create full separate profiles for your games, in case you'd like to have a sniping option, for example. Then I had a brain aneurism or something and I became incapable of winning a game. Recently I switched to the steelseries Sensei mouse, and just a few weeks latr I won an international tournament. The sensei's sensor and tracking are incredibly smooth and high quality, you get unparalleled accuracy and speed no matter what situation you're using it in. It's also very comfortable to use, it fits hands of all sizes perfectly and glides smoothly over any kind of mouse pad. When I unfortunately decided to get back into competitive FPS games (CS Source) I had to find a mouse that could replace my old G9 and support my unusual hybrid claw/palm grip. On my search to find this mouse, I went through several other gaming mice including: - Razer Death Adder: I found to be too large to support my hybrid claw grip. - Zowie EC2: Slightly smaller than the Death Adder, but again could not support my grip. - CM Storm Spawn: I went entirely in the other direction buying a pure claw grip mouse. I think this would have been okay if not for the damn pinky rest I could not get used to. After buying the Sensei, I could not have been happier with its feel, and subsequent performance when I game. This review is from: Rock Band 3 PRO-Cymbals Expansion Kit (Accessory) For everyone on here who can't figure out how to assemble these (which is understandable, because the directions are terrible): Each clamp comes in two pieces, with a slight space between them. Take them and SQUEEZE THEM TOGETHER as hard as you can until you hear two loud pops, one on each end. Don't worry, you didn't break it. You're just putting it together. If you don't do this, the tightening nuts won't work, no matter how much you try to turn them. Now they don't slide down when you hit them! No tape necessary! Now. Speaking as an actual drummer, these are the best accessory for Rock Band ever. Quieter and more responsive than the RB2 cymbals. As for the hi-hat clamp length issue, here's what I do. To set up like an actual drummer, you need to connect your crash and your hat on the LEFT side of the kit. Put the green crash on the tall tube. Connect it to the set with a short clamp. Out of the box these cymbals are WAY too sensitive to be even remotely fun to play. I was extremely frustrated at double-hit notes coming through constantly. I searched around online for an answer and found a partial solution. If you look for the "Penny" mod it will clear up a lot, but not all of the issues (although it will void your factory warranty). I added some extra foam padding above the actual sensor and now the cymbals work perfectly. So, as an out-of-the-box item these cymbals are pretty much useless for the precision needed for RB3. With a couple of simple mods, though, these puppies work great. Granted they should have worked great straight from the factory but they are so much fun now I'm willing to overlook the simple mods I had to do to make them work properly. A worthwhile investment if you don't mind doing a little work to get them to function properly... The Ear Force X31 is our third generation of wireless headsets for the XBOX 360. Like the X3, the X31 combines XBOX live chat with wireless game sound so you can hear the game sound and the voices of other players in the headset. In other words, it replaces your XBOX communicator headset and external speakers. By hearing the XBOX Live chat in the center of your head rather than in one ear, you can communicate better online. By eliminating speakers you can turn up the game without disturbing others. And, by having the game sound right on top of your ears, you can hear even the softest sound cues that are impossible to hear with speakers. For example, you can hear when someone is quietly sneaking up on you and react faster. That means you’ll have a totally immersive gaming experience while becoming a better player. Just like the X3, the X31 includes a headset and small transmitter. As you can see, the colors have been changed so it’s easy to see it’s a new model. What is different, however, is that we made the headset more comfortable by increasing the size of the ear cups so they sit around your ears rather than on top of them. We also replaced the vinyl ear cushions with these soft, fabric mesh cushions that let your ears breathe. The most significant improvement is that the X31 uses digital 2.4 Giga Hertz Radio Frequency wireless technology. This new digital RF technology is a huge improvement over analog IR because it delivers CD-quality sound with no background hiss, no interference from plasma TV screens and no line of sight restrictions between the transmitter and headset. Sound quality is improved with new 40mm speakers that use the same design as our high-quality X41 50mm speakers for better frequency response and improved clarity in the game sound. Inside the headset is a digital signal processor for bass boost and stereo expander effects, which can be turned on by pressing this button. This makes the expander more dramatic than the X3.

The popping noise isn't a problem if you know where to correctly place your headphone equipment. These headphones offer quality you can't get with most t.vs. I can hear footsteps of the enemy as they try to sneak up on me, gunshots off in the distance, the action sounds like its right there. The headphones are a comfortable fit with a decent mic. I can whisper into the mic and my friends can hear me no problem. This is an excellent alternative for gaming at night. I highly recommend this to anybody who wants to hear everything, including the chat of your friends or foe. With chat boost, chat is not drowned out with explosions. Good audio, comfortable, and lightweight. But the headset has its problems. To begin, it has a low battery life. I suggest investing in rechargeable AAA batteries if you're going to get this headset. Also, the cord connecting the headset to the 360 controller breaks and/or often causes other people's voices to echo. I found unplugging it and plugging it back in works, but it is an annoyance. Lastly, the RF signal that provides the headset audio has great quality but interferes with WiFi and visa-versa. If you have an ethernet connection and are a good distance away from a WiFi router you should be fine. Otherwise this headset is great!
