5.0 out of 5 stars A must have for true Zelda fans., November 6, 2011

As somebody who's a real fan of the Zelda franchise, I was thrilled when I found this little gem for $15 at GameStop. This collection is great. It includes both NES games: The Legend of Zelda, and the less popular Zelda II - The Adventure of Link.
Also included are both N64 titles: Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask. Finally there is a playable demo for Windwaker. I really like the fact that 4 full Zelda games are found on one gamecube disk. This is especially nice if you only have a Gamecube or a Wii. I know true purists would rather play the games on their original system but if you don't have the original games, or don't have room to have a bunch of consoles set up, this is really a lot more convenient.
If you're looking for the OOT Master Quest, you'll want to search for a LoZ 2-game promotional disc including both Ocarina of Time and the Ocarina of Time Master Quest. If you have a 3DS you could also get the OOT remake.

4.0 out of 5 stars Bad emulation issues with Majora, but overall a winning comp. Notable for being the first major rerelease of the 2 NES Zeldas, December 13, 2011

A lot of people (myself included), were exited to learn Nintendo was releasing this compilation. 2002/2003 was a very time frame for Zelda fans. Not only did we get this comp, but we also got the long fabled Ura-Zelda that was for the cancelled 64DD attachment that never made its way out of Japan (like so many other video games in history, I'm looking at you Mother, Final Fantasy, and Lost Levels). It was a whole second quest for Ocarina, just like the original Zelda with two different remixed quests.

In 2003, Nintendo began the first of many Zelda back game reissues, which was a long time coming. The whole reason for this compilation's existence was so you can play the entire Legend of Zelda series (at that time, anyway) on one system: the GameCube. With the Gameboy Adapter, you could play the entire Zelda catalogue on your GameCube, including the three Gameboy Titles that were out at 2003. Being Zelda fans, a lot of people (myself included), were exited to learn... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Four classic games and more; worth the price, April 6, 2012
    = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: The Legend of Zelda: Collectors Edition (Zelda / Zelda II: The Adventure of Link / Ocarina of Time / Majora's Mask) (Video Game)
I got this disc about six years ago, when the GameCube was still a modern console. At the time, I paid $45.00 for a used copy, which even then was expensive. To this day, the price hasn't gone down any, but I can assure you that, for any Zelda fan, the price is well worth the enjoyment you'll get out of it.

As the box says, this disc has 4 full games on it. It also has a demo of The Wind Waker, a short video retrospective, and a fairly useless tutorial about hoking up a Game Boy Advance to The Wind Waker (kind of irrelevant if the person doesn't own the full game).

The first game included is The Legend of Zelda, from the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). This game is the one most people remember, and considering the time when it was made, it holds up fairly well. If anything, it's actually slightly overrated in my opinion, but it's still a very good game.

The second title is Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, also on the NES. While many people don't... Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Awesome when it works, but buggy for me..., January 28, 2011
This review is from: SteelSeries World of Warcraft Cataclysm MMO Gaming Mouse (Personal Computers)
I'm currently on my second Cataclysm mouse and shopping for a permanent replacement. I'm not the least bit excited about finding an alternative because despite its setbacks, I absolutely love using this mouse in game and I have no idea how I'm going to adjust to a mouse with fewer buttons. I play a tanking class in warcraft and the numerous buttons at my fingertips make it exceedingly easy to adapt to the gameplay during heroics and raids.

    My issues so far:

First off, the presets for the mouse are stupid. I don't need a special hot key on my mouse to open my bags, check my guild, or bring up my charecter screen... I do those actions maybe once or twice a day and I have no issues with going to a menu for that. I personally want my 17 buttons to be all for combat and vent controls that I can easily bind with my Bartender UI. However changing the settings to do that was a pain, and my second issue.

The Steelseries UI won't let you just re-assign a... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Mouse size, February 21, 2012
This review is from: SteelSeries World of Warcraft Cataclysm MMO Gaming Mouse (Personal Computers)
I usually don't write reviews about the products I buy but after reading a lot of the reviews, I felt that it had to be done. Specifically about the size. My hands are average size for an 18 yr old male and my hand fits perfectly on the mouse. My sister even said it had a good feel to it, and her hands are smaller than mine! SO unless your hands are the size of a midgets, I think you'll be okay... The layout of buttons is nice, not to crammed, yet not to spread. It's not to hard to set macros either. It seems to me that people just need something to ripe about.

This is one of the more important items for flight simulation. Essential if you're flying IFR.These units are well built, work well, and are relatively inexpensive. They're light, though. As I mentioned on the review of the autopilot unit, I had to install them into a small wooden box so they wouldn't move around.

I'm running them through a really cheap USB hub. It works but a better hub would provide more stable power. Don't cheese on a USB hub. Buy a good one. Don't try to run these off the Saitek yoke hub ports unless you have a power supply for the yoke.

Bottom line: Great unit. I wish I had three of these! That way, I could leave the radios dedicated to Communications, Navs, and ADF/DME without switching the knobs on the left.

I bought this because I wanted to be able to navigate and use the ATC functions in FSX without having to use the click spots in the virtual cockpit which can be really fiddly to use whilst maintaining control of the plane.

The radio panel arrived and was well packaged, the face of the panel screws to a stand that supports it so if you were buildling a cockpit you could just use the panel without the stand. Installation was simple and FSX recognised it straight away.

The other review comments about the controls are spot on, but shouldn't detract from this product. The selector for the different radio types is quite stiff to use, but you quickly get used to the right amount of effort required and the tuning dials are a bit imprecise as the 'clicks' don't correspond with the increments on the radio (it's about a 2:1 ratio of frequency to clicks). However given that this tunes both COM and NAV this is perfectly understandable - they have different increments, so... Read more

Overall, the product is great! I am an ex cockpit builder (long ago) and have spent over $900 for the part to do what this does. That said, you get what you pay for and in most ways more than you paid for in my opinion. The function knobs on the left I like. They are more sturdy and some say touch to turn, but not me. I think it may be because the knobs on the right are so incredibly cheap that the other knobs feel so much harder to turn. The only reason I gave this 4 stars and not 5 is because of those knobs. I wanted this to speed up the freq setting part of my sim time, but I spend more time because of how sensitive they are and you'll over shoot the desired freq setting countless times even though you only moved it one "knub". Personally I'm going to spend the $.29 cents at radio shack and replace them with a generic potentiometer or similar. I had to speak the truth here, but I'm sure 99% of people will be more than satisfied with this unit.
